What you’ll need
- A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later)
- macOS 13 Ventura or later
- An existing ChatGPT/Codex subscription
- An internet connection for AI services
The current build does not support Intel Macs, Windows or Linux.
SET UP YOUR FIRST AGENT
Give your first teammate
a clear job.
- Open the downloaded disk image and drag Crew to Applications.
- Open Crew and create a project.
- Sign in with your ChatGPT account when prompted.
- Create your first agent. Define its responsibilities, give it instructions and choose its permission groups.
- Start the agent and give it a task by text, or choose Connect voice to talk it through.
- Review its work. Refine the instructions or add another specialist for a different part of the project.
Crew’s production installers are signed and notarised for macOS.
